St. Timothy’s is a small, historic Episcopal church located in the Arsenal Hill neighborhood of downtown Columbia. Founded in 1892 as a Sunday School for the children of Arsenal Hill, today the parish includes people of all ages from diverse walks of life and circumstances. We are a welcoming community who endeavors to model the love of Christ in all our actions, both within our church family and with the wider community. Our worship on Sunday mornings is traditional but open, reverent but relaxed.
Intent on discerning who God is calling us to be right here and right now, the entire parish is currently working on our new mission statement. Look for an update by summer of 2022.
