A Few Words from our Rector

Blessings to you visiting our web page;
Whoever you are and wherever you may be on your journey to God, you are welcome at St Timothy’s.

These words are the same words we use in our bulletin under the words “Holy Communion” as we invite all baptized Christians to join us at the altar rail.  Every Sunday the table of our altar is set and we gather around it to celebrate the remembering of Christ’s body.  Each time we celebrate the Eucharist, we come together again as his body to be renewed, refreshed, re-invigorated to return to the world with the strength and light of God’s call in our lives.  That call is to love God and love our neighbor.

If you are searching for a spiritual home, a faith family, or just seeking the unknown in your life, join us for worship or attend any of our functions, to feel the love of God’s acceptance and welcome as evidenced by the people who call St. Timothy’s their church home.  We strive for wholeness for all in body, mind and spirit.

“In him you have brought us out of error into truth, out of sin into righteousness, out of death into life” (Book of Common Prayer, p. 368).

As Episcopalians, we are followers of Jesus Christ, and both our worship and our mission are in Christ’s name. In Jesus, we find that the nature of God is love, and through baptism, we share in his victory over sin and death.  In the waters of baptism we are reminded that we belong to God and nothing can separate us from the love of God.
